Recording of Digital Solutions for Health and Social Care in Wales event now available

A recording of the Digital Solutions for Health and Social Care in Wales event is now available to view via YouTube.

Health Technology Wales joined forces with Life Sciences Hub Wales, Digital Health and Care Wales and Digital Health Ecosystem Wales to run the event which explored opportunities for digital solutions for health and social care.

During the event we were joined by Glyn Jones, Chief Digital Officer, Welsh Government who outlined the Digital Strategy for Wales and by speakers coverings topics ranging from the evaluating digital technologies for health and social care to the Innovative Devices Access Pathway.

Event attendees took part in an interactive session where they applied the NICE evidence standards framework to digital technologies. Meanwhile on the second day innovators from PainChek and Health.io presented their technologies to an expert panel who gave feedback on whether the devices met health technology assessment criteria.

Presentations were also given about the forthcoming Health Technology Wales Digital Open Topic Call which will aim to identify digital solutions with the potential to transform health and social care in Wales.

Attendees event feedback included:

Thanks so much I have gained so much to inspire future work

Great presentations and discussion today – thank you!

“Thanks very much for your help yesterday, the event was brilliant, probably the best one I’ve attended in terms of content and relevance.”
